*hangs head in shame* ok, so 500K was a way over-exageration. My apologies on that. Although if you factor in the cost of buying armor elsewhere (like say Ascalon, Amnoon Oasis & Droknar Forge) to the cost of Ghrotto/Citadel armor then 500K isn't that far off really (well ok maybe it is... LOL)
Here's another thing (a serious issue here) - the person stating 500K might have been talking about if you buy all the 15K armor's. In which case, depending on your profession then it could easily take ~500K to buy. Lets see.. For a warrior (buying all materials from merchants) it will cost 360K gold (at current merchant prices). Hmm, even if you buy the whole lot 500K is still way off unless you are unluck (and stupid) and buy from the merchants when their prices are rediculiously high...) course, if you then add the cost of runes for each set of armor.. depending on rune costs and what runes your after it could easily cost over 500K for the whole set.. 112,500 gold per set of armor if you buy minor Runes of Strength, Tactis and Axe mastery with Superior Vigor & Superior Absorbtion.. Or save yourself some gold and only go Major vigor & Absorbtion.. for an added cost of 7,780 per armor.. thats 31,120 over-all so going only major abs/vig won't get you to 500K, but moment you use 1 or both of them you get there or go beyond it (depends on which you get). total cost of getting all 4 sets of 15K armor for a warrior, buying all materials @ current prices, with the more expensive setup, again buying at current prices, 810,000 gold. So eat that! 500K was understating the total cost! Last edited by Kamatsu; Sep 19, 2005 at 10:09 PM // 22:09.. |

Eh, Fissure armor for male Warriors is kinda ugly, except for the helm, and that's not worth it for the choices you have. Actually all male Warrior armor is pretty ugly compared to other professions' armor choices. Which class are you referring to A NERD1989?
